Course Overview
This course covered the recognition of abuse and neglect in adults, understanding relevant legislation (including the Care Act 2014), roles and responsibilities, and appropriate procedures for reporting and responding to safeguarding concerns in line with CQC requirements and Care Certificate Standard 10.
What You'll Learn?
- o To provide learners with a basic understanding of what safeguarding adults means.
- o To enable learners to recognise potential signs of abuse and know who to report concerns to within their organization.
- All staff working in health and social care, including non-clinical roles (e.g., cleaners, admin staff, volunteers) who may have contact with adults. This is a foundational awareness level.
